UPDATE: We capped and are willing to make room for additional heads, but the studio charges $10 more per extra head; hence, the increase in pricing.

Our house photographer ESpear will lead a workshop to teach others how to take photos in the light tunnel room (2pm-3pm), infinity room (3pm-4pm), and rain room (includes 11ft portable aerial rig; 4pm-6pm). Ai & an assistant can provide as-needed guidance to models on how to pose. If you can werk it on your own, we'll just fangirl doing BTS videos of you.

A specific photographer to model ratio is not guaranteed. The studio only allows up to 10 people at a time, so we have to cap this event after 7 purchases.

Photographers: 

• Must bring your own professional camera (e.g., DSLR).
• The fee includes a $50 refundable deposit. (The rest is nonrefundable.) Each photographer will be given a private dropbox folder to submit their photos. Deposit will be refunded if at least 40 photos (i.e., at least 10 per hr shot) are submitted within 2 weeks of the event. If you would prefer to charge models for photo edits, you are welcome to. Please note that you are NOT required to submit photos. The deposit is just forfeited if the minimum amount is not uploaded by 4/7/24 2:00 pm.
• Light set up will be provided by the house photographer. You can rent a trigger with a valid ID from FD studios if you want additional lights (max 1 light stand).
• Will receive a model release.

Models: Must bring your own clothes (you can bring multiple)

• Please note that this event is a workshop. If you do not receive any content (free or purchasable from at least 1 photographer) within 2 weeks, you will receive a full refund. Otherwise, the fee is nonrefundable.
• Each model will get 5-10 min of posing time (may be simultaneously with another model)
• You are welcome to capture BTS.
• No Aerial (2pm-5pm): You'd only pose standing, doing floorwerk, using a chair, or sitting on the provided motorcycle (only available in light tunnel room).
• Aerial (5pm-6pm): You'd only pose in the rain room because we will only set up the portable aerial rig in that room. You can bring your own apparatus or use our hoop. Flying pole will be an additional $20.
• All (2pm-6pm): You can do all of the above!
• Required to sign a photo release.

Other:

• Photographers and models are free to exchange information to collaborate in the future.
• No nudity. Partial nudity permitted.

FAQ: 

Q (Photographer): Could you explain the deposit part/charging the models? We’d submit 40 photos to the drop box but could also charge the models? I’m unclear on that.

A: So the admission for photographers include a $50 deposit. You pay $150 for early bird and after you submit 40 photos, you get $50 back so it’s technically $100. The photo submission is to ensure each model gets at least something for participating! But photographers don’t have to submit, they can just keep the photos to themselves or sell them to the models. Option to not submit is forfeiting the $50.
